three quick facts about myself: number one. i really hate capital letters. i would rather not use them at all, in case you already couldn't tell, but i'm sure my teachers wouldn't be too happy about that decision. number two. if you see me around campus, you would probably think i was a freshman or a sophomore. i don't really look my age, and whenever i go to an R rated movie at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, I am carded. number three. my goal post graduation is to go to law school, though i won't say which one (i'm kind of superstitious).
now getting past the informal "getting to know you" part of my post, i should probably move onto the more official stuff, like telling you the purpose behind this blog.
after some discussion, the staff of the CDO decided it was time to enter the blogging realm. our hope was that this blog could be a place for us to share our own experiences. a place where we could talk about what career paths we were taking, what decisions we are struggling with, a place where we could share our knowledge with all of you.
since there are seven of us, all with different experiences, different goals, and different personalities, we all have different things to share. and we will all take turns blogging, so you will be sure to hear about all we have to say.
it is our hope that you check back with us often to read what we have to say and visit us at office hours. just remember, we are here to make your lives easier.
so, i will now end this very long first post by saying this: welcome, sit back, and enjoy.
